Half-day theory only: 10am to 2pm (4-hours)
Food Safety theory training runs fortnightly on Wednesday.
NZQA Unit Standard 20666: Level 2 – Credits 2 – Version 6
Ideal for low-risk food businesses – this course provides the ‘essential’ training that all food-handlers MUST have and prepares you to work with the most basic Food Safety practices.
When you complete this training you will learn:
- basic food contamination hazards
- basic methods to control these hazards; and
- how to prevent cross/contamination of food
