WHAT’S INVOLVED
These courses are designed to improve the performance of your staff by improving their interpersonal and workplace communication, confidence, health and safety as well as literacy and numeracy skills. We identify the skills and knowledge required for day-to-day work tasks and tailor the delivery to your organisation, creating an effective training solution to improve your business performance. Following our workplace training, you can expect to see improved team communication and understanding, increased productivity and higher levels of compliance. You may also find individual employees have more confidence and willingness to step up to leadership roles. This training is government funded and is usually offered at no cost to your organisation.
GETTING STARTED
We make the process as easy as possible for your organisation and fun for your staff. First we develop an understanding of what is involved in your workplace and the tasks and skills required in each role. We design a programme and agree on a timetable, ensuring it fits around participant workload. We work with individuals or small groups, usually for one or two hours each week at your business premises.
FUNDING
The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) administers a fund to support Workplace Training and Development. Your employees may be eligible for this fund. There is no cost to the employer, and the programme only requires 40 hours of time which is usually spread over several weeks.
